Stephanie Bedard, DVM, CCRT

Stephanie Bedard, DVM, received her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois in 2006. Through her experience in practice she realized the definitive need for rehabilitation therapy to improve the quality of life and the rate of post-operative recovery in patients. This inspired her to pursue becoming a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Bedard has a special interest in geriatric medicine, neurologic rehabilitation and sporting dog reconditioning.

Four Paws Animal Hospital welcomed Dr. Bedard as a full-time veterinarian on September 1, 2009. She is currently a member of the Canine Sports Medicine Association, the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She currently resides in O’Fallon with her Labrador Retriever-Kipper and her cat-Scooter.  Dr. Bedard also has a horse named Rapid Fire.
